April Backer Update
Hi everyone - we're back with another update this month. It's great to keep hearing about everyone getting the pledge rewards! If you're still waiting or have questions about your order, we'll try to address your concerns below.
Customer Service Response Time
Our customer service team normally works to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. However, the huge number of emails we've been receiving have overwhelmed our inbox. That's really slowed down how quickly we can get back to everyone.
We've added two new people to our customer service team to try and respond to everyone in a timely fashion, and they are steadily making their way through the big backlog of emails. Thank you for your understanding if it's taking longer than usual to get a response from us. We WILL get back to you, and do everything we can to sort out any issues.
Delayed Shipments
Canada Deliveries. There was a delay in the Canada freighter getting into port. From what we're hearing, it just arrived in the port this week. Our team has started sharing tracking numbers with Canada backers. It may take some time for all packages to clear customs and get out of the port - but they should be on the way to your home soon!
Canada Binder Sheets. Some Canadian backers have had some or all of their binder sheets sent separately from their main order. These binder sheets may arrive prior to the main order. Rest assured that your main order is on its way!
Norway & Switzerland Deliveries. These orders have not yet left our distribution partner's warehouse. We've been working with them to ensure that these are shipped in a way that is friendliest to the backer, in terms of getting through customs. This has been a slow process, but we're finally ready to get these shipped to you. We'll provide another update after they go out.
EU/UK Deliveries. We're being told this is still on track, and we expect the ship should arrive at port by the 1st week of May. We'll share tracking links once we have confirmation that the ship has arrived.
US Deliveries. Our distribution partner was not able to ship orders directly to PO Box addresses, to Hawaii and Alaska addresses, and to a few other random US addresses for unspecified issues. In order to complete these deliveries as quickly as we can, we've paid for expedited sea shipping to our Los Angeles warehouse. Once we receive them here, our local team will get them shipped out to you.
We expect these packages to get to Los Angeles in about four weeks. Our apologies to these backers for the longer than expected delivery time. If the issues with delivering to these addresses had been communicated to us earlier in the process, we would have made arrangements to get these to you sooner. As it is, we thank you for your patience as we hustle on getting these out to you without further delay.
Missing or Damaged Items
When you receive your order, please be sure to look it over and confirm if anything is missing or damaged. We've heard from a number of backers that were missing their Nobles sets, or that one or more binders have arrived damaged.
If you're missing the Nobles, or any other set, please let us know and we will send you the missing item. Both the damaged binders and the missing Nobles seem to be due to packing errors, and we've arranged for our distributor to send replacements directly from their warehouse.
